A name
written on colours bold and bright
Raised to the sky
What a beautiful majestic sight
All eyes lifted up
Gazing t’wards the sun
A journey to end
and another has begun
Memory will reign
as the sky has seen your name
Colours blend
into small dots on the horizon
Our tears will dissolve the sand
beneath our feet
to become a river of joy
and stories to tell
for generations to come
God hold you in His hand
as He holds us all in peace
and memory.
Fly home, beloved father
