Switching seats

I switched my seat
and moved the names
just to be closer to you

I laughed real loud
and looked your way
so that you’d see me too

My car broke down
outside your door
I needed to borrow your phone

I placed the ring
onto your finger
and so we built our home

The children playing
and giving hugs
Our world is now so sweet

I’m really glad
I had the guts
to get up and switch my seat.
